J'ai récemment fait l'acquisition du moteur de rendu type Reyes proposant une passerelle vers maya RenderMan pour Maya. Très performant bien que limité sur certains points, je compte l'utiliser pour mon projet perso fil rouge Makaku que je reprendrais directement après l'hommage à Clément Sauvé! voici donc quelques tests de pré-production.

ENG: Just a little information about my reel. As there is a huge quantity of awesome artists in the world, i think that a bunch of work with a music tape associated isn't very powerful nowadays especially for somebody who want to be seen as a director/Artdirector... it's became very boring for me... Of course, it's not that simple because if you're a Senior you can just align your work and say shut up and enjoy! but we already can see that the wave is changing his direction with some work like this:

FR: Juste une petite information sur mon Reel. Comme il y a une quantité énorme d'artistes ahurissant dans le monde, je pense qu'aligner en rang son travail dans une vidéo avec une musique aussi cool qu'elle soit n'a plus autant d'impact, ça en devient même soulant, donc à éviter de plus en plus. Surtout lorsqu'on voudrait être vu comme un réalisateur ou directeur artistique... Bien entendu, quand on est Sénior on peut faire un simple montage quelconque et dire tais-toi et regardes! Mais nous pouvons déjà voir que la vague change sa direction avec un peu de travail comme ici :

ENG: Indeed this kind of reel require some free time but it's for me the best way to give impact and make your own style at the same time! This is what i'm working on! Thanks for your understanding.

FR: En effet ce type de Reel exige du temps libre, mais il est pour moi la meilleure façon de donner de l'impact et faire preuve d'originalité en même temps! C'est sur quoi je travaille! merci de votre compréhension.

One day, while i roamed on the web as a ghost i fell on this picture... So I directly fell in love with the shop direction.
I chose 3 guyz and started a little project called : Scrotch and The Soul Of Chogokin (Tetsujin).

Un jour alors que j'errais sur le net comme un fantôme, je suis tombé sur cette image... Ce fut le coup de foudre immédiat niveau mise en scène. J'ai donc choisi 3 persos pour me lancer dans un petit projet nommé Scrotch and The Soul Of Chogokin (Tetsujin).

It was made in one month but in fact 2 weeks of real work...The acquired experience will be very useful for me to improve the quality of my next projects...

Assez vieux aussi pour le coup et je m'en souviens comme si c'était hier... j'avais livré ma première bataille contre le clan des vertexs cachés et un autre tas de maudits bandits!
La composition n'est pas étudiée mais le résultat m'avait décoiffé à l'époque. Aujourd'hui je le trouve un peu baclé...
